French symposium of AI 2013 - 1-5 July 2013

The aim of this symposium is to bring together researchers, practitioners and students around conferences and workshops on Artificial Intelligence (AI). This event takes place every two years, in alternance with the French-speaking conference on Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence (RFIA). The previous editions of this symposium were held in Chambery (2011), Hammamet (2009), Grenoble (2007), Nice (2005), Laval (2003), Grenoble (2001), Palaiseau (1999).

This conference is a unique and friendly meeting point for the AI community to bring the different disciplines together. For this purpose, this symposium aims at attracting the whole French-speaking AI community in order to address common problems.

Registration and payment are required for attending the conference. Participants must wear their name badge. For the social events and the lunches, it will also be necessary to present the corresponding ticket. To be entitled to the discounts, participants must be able to present a proof (student ID, AFIA membership).

Registration includes:

• admission to all sessions of conferences and workshops during 2, 3 or 5 days;

• lunches for 2, 3 or 5 days;

• electronic proceedings (excepted fo JFSMA);

• conference kit;

• coffee breaks.

You can pay by Paypal, wire transfer, cheque or purchase order. Please note that we reserve the right to cancel a workshop due to insufficient participation. In this case, fees for the cancelled session will not be refunded.

The symposium will take place from the 1st until the 5th of July at:

IUT A Université Lille 1 Cité Scientifique BP 90179 59653 Villeneuve d'Ascq Cedex.

The IUT is a central location in the campus of Université Lille 1 in a new and large building with 5 amphitheatre and many rooms. The building is closed to many parking places and near a tube station.

A tube can bring you there from Lille down town in less than 15 minutes.
